LR1 point, Da dun (Large Pile)

Location: On the foot, on the lateral side of the end of the great (big) toe, .1 cun from the corner of the nail.

Health Issues Supported: Hernia, enuresis, metrorrhagia, prolapse of the uterus, epilepsy

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts: Regulates Liver Qi, regulates menstruation, resuscitates, resolves Damp-Heat, benefits the genitals.

LR2 point, Xing Jian (Moving Between)

Location: On the dorsum of the foot, proximal to the margin of the web between the 1st and 2nd toes, at the junction of the red and white skin.

Health Issues Supported: Metrorrhagia, inhibited urination, headache, red swollen painful eyes, epilepsy

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts:  Clears Liver Heat, expels interior Wind, subdues Liver Yang, regulates Liver Qi, benefits the Lower Jiao.

LR3 point, Tai chong (Supreme Surge)

Location: On the dorsum of the foot, in the depression proximal to the 1st metatarsal space.

Health Issues Supported: Metrorrhagia, enuresis, hernia, headache, epilepsy

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts: Regulates Liver Qi, subdues Liver Yang, regulates menstruation, calms the Shen, nourishes Liver Yin.

LR4 point, Zhong feng (Mound Center)

Location: On the dorsum of the foot, between SP 5 and ST 41, in the depression on the medial side of the tendon m. tibialis anterior.

Health Issues Supported: Hernia, seminal emission, inhibited urination

LR5 point, Li gou (Woodworm Canal)

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 5 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, on the middle of the medial aspect of the tibia.

LR6 point, Zhong du (Central Metropolis)

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 7 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, on the middle of the medial aspect of the tibia.

LR7 point, Xi guan (Knee joint)

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, posterior and inferior to the medial condyle of the tibia, in the upper portion of the medial head of m. gastrocnemius, 1 cun posterior to SP 9

LR8 point, Qu quan (Spring at the Bend)

Location: On the medial aspect of the knee, when the knee is flexed, the point is in the depression on the medial end of the transverse popliteal crease, on the posterior border of the medial epicondyle of the femur, on the anterior portion of the insertion of m. semitendinosus and m. semimembranosus.

LR10 point, (Zu) wu li (Foot Five Li)

Location:   On the medial aspect of the upper thigh, 3 cun directly below ST 30, inferior to the pubic tubercle, on the lateral border of m. abductor longus.

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts:  Resolves Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao.

LR11 point, Yin lian (Yin Corner)

Location:   On the medial aspect of the upper thigh, 2 cun directly below ST 30, inferior to the pubic tubercle, on the lateral border of m. abductor longus.

LR12 point, Ji mai (Urgent pulse)

Location: On the lateral aspect of the pubic tubercle, lateral and inferior to ST 30, at the inguinal groove where the femoral artery pulsates.

LR13 point, Zhang men (Camphorwood Gate)

Location: On the lateral side of the abdomen, below the free end of the 11th floating rib.
