SP1 point, Yin bai (Hidden White)

Location: On the medial side of the big toe, .1 cun from the corner of the nail.

Health Issues Supported: Abdominal distention, profuse menstruation, withdrawal

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts: Stops bleeding, regulates the Spleen, calms the shen, revives consciousness

SP2 point, Da du (Great Metropolis)

Location: On the medial aspect of the foot, in the depression anterior and inferior to the proximal metatarsodigital joint of the big toe, at the junction of the red and white skin.

Health Issues Supported: Abdominal distension, stomach pain, gout

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts: Clears Heat, regulates and tonifies the Spleen, resolves Damp-Heat (i.e. gout).

SP3 point, Tai bai (Supreme White)

Location: On the medial aspect of the foot, in the depression posterior and inferior to the proximal metatarsodigital joint of the big toe, at the junction of the red and white skin.

SP4 point, Gong sun (Yellow Emperor)

Location: On the medial aspect of the foot, in the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone.

SP5 point, Shang qiu (Shang Hill)

Location: On the depression distal and inferior to the medial malleolus, midpoint between the tuberosity of the navicular bone and the tip of the medial malleolus.

SP6 point, San yin Jiao (Three Yin Intersection)

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 3 cun above the medial malleolus, on the posterior border of the medial aspect of the tibia.

Health Issues Supported: Intestinal rumbling, abdominal distention, menstrual disorders, seminal emission, inhibited urination, enuresis, insomnia

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 6 cun above the medial malleolus on the line connecting the tip of the medial malleolus and SP 9, on the posterior border of the medial aspect of the tibia.

SP8 point, Di ji (Earth's Crux)

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 3 cun below SP 9, on the line connecting the tip of the medial malleolus and SP 9.

Health Issues Supported: Abdominal pain, dysentery, inhibited urination, menstrual disorders, painful menstruation, seminal emission

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts: Harmonizes the Spleen, regulates menstruation and the uterus, moves Blood, regulates Qi.

SP9 point, Yin ling quan (Yin Mound Spring)

Location:   On the medial aspect of the lower leg, in the depression of the lower border of the medial condyle of the tibia

Health Issues Supported: Abdominal distention, diarrhea, inhibited urination, knee pain, edema

Acupuncture and Acupressure Impacts: Resolves Dampness (especially of the Lower Jiao), regulates the Spleen, frees the water passages and urination.

SP10 point, Xue hai (Sea of Blood)

Location:   When the knee is flexed, on the medial aspect of the thigh, the point is 2 cun above the mediosuperior border of the patella, on the bulge of the medial portion of m. quadriceps femoris.

SP11 point, Ji men (Winnower Gate)

Location:   On the medial aspect of the thigh, 6 cun above SP 10 on the line connecting SP 10 and SP 12.

SP12 point, Chong men (Surging Gate)

Location: At the lateral end of the inguinal groove, 3.5 cun lateral to the midpoint of the upper margin of the pubic symphysis, on the lateral side of the femoral artery.

SP13 point, Ju she (Bowel Abode)

Location: On the lower abdomen, 4 cun below the umbilicus, .7 cun laterosuperior to SP 12, 4 cun from the anterior midline of the body

SP14 point, Fu jie (Abdominal Bind)

Location: On the lower abdomen, 1.3 cun below SP 15, 4 cun from the anterior midline of the body.

SP15 point, Da heng (Great Horizontal)

SP17 point, Shi dou (Food Hole)

Location: On the lateral aspect of the chest, in the 5th intercostal space, 6 cun from the anterior midline of the body.

SP18 point, Tian xi (Celestial Ravine)

Location: On the lateral aspect of the chest, in the 4th intercostal space, 6 cun from the anterior midline of the body.

SP19 point, Xiong xiang (Chest Village)
